e-Ticket Distribution

• Any tickets can be distributed through the LunaSolutions Prepay system

• Ticket examples:
     Theater or cinema
     Plane, bus or train
     Concerts or sport events
     Museums, parks, etc.

• Three e-Ticket types:
     e-Voucher: ticket with (virtually) no attendance limit
     e-Entry: ticket with no seat assignments but limited access
     e-Seat: ticket with seat assignment (unique ticket)

• All e-Tickets contain a unique identifying PIN
     e-Ticket can optionally be scanned at entry to verify validity
     PIN may also be deactivated (to prevent repeated use)
 
• Require communication with external ticketing system
     Check availability
     Select seat(s) (if e-Seat)
     Reserve ticket(s)
     Notify of purchase

• e-Ticket security and fraud detection
     Deactivation of PIN after entry
     Use of a stamp if sold through a live agent
     Use of special paper if sold through live agent or self-service kiosk

• Additional security (Secure e-Tickets):
     Additional information required at purchase

• Name (identification used to redeem e-Ticket) or

• Credit card (presented with e-Ticket at entry) or

• Smart card (stores or accompanies e-Ticket at entry)
     Prevents sale of copied tickets

• Security requirements printed on ticket (“ID required” or “Credit card required”)
